Barry believes…

In One God,  eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 

 

In Jesus Christ, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, and led a sinless life. Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised on the third day. He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate. He reigns supreme and is coming soon to restore the earth.

 

In the Holy Spirit who gives us the grace and power to live the Christian life.

 

In the Bible as the infallible Word of God, His holy and inspired Word, and the supreme and final authority for every believer’s life.

 

In the fallen human condition that ALL people everywhere are spiritually dead because of sin and separation from God, and therefore need life through a relationship with Jesus, uniquely given by His death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead.

 

In the calling that ALL believers are commanded to live by the Great Commandment and the Great Commission so that our lives bear fruit for the glory of God.

In the church, the Body of Christ that by the Holy Spirit unites all true believers around the world.
